Good works

In 2016, employees and retirees pledged $9.7 million to United Way, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors and Junior Achievement. The USAA Foundation also gave $3.5 million to United Way. Employees and retirees donated more than 5,000 volunteer hours.

Fun facts

Employees have an on-site fitness center and Child Development Center, and concierge service is available to employees to assist with running errands. Workers can buy or sell PTO or flex hours to give them more control over their work/life balance.
