Employees say

“I love my job because it teaches me the skills I need for the career field I'm trying to pursue. I'm able to work in a stress-free, accepting and healthy environment. And I still have free time to manage my personal life!”

“I feel managers have a vested interest in their employees. It is shown in many events such as monthly birthday cupcakes (and lately fresh fruit because of the company’s biggest loser contest), a yearly crawfish boil, a catered Christmas lunch from Maggiano’s and others. We have a personal trainer who comes in three times a week.”

“I love the system and hierarchy they have in place here at Axcent Networks. Everyone has a sense of pride working for Axcent yet everyone can still be unique in their own way. They have a (very) open-door policy — we can communicate straight to the president and CEO.”

Good works

Axcent funds an after-school program called Kids for Christ, a ministry that helps Dallas children. Many employees participate in the annual Komen Race for the Cure to honor the company CEO’s wife, Gena Tutton, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007.

Fun facts

Axcent invites its clients to teambuilding events like its annual crawfish boil so they can interact with employees.
