In their own words
“Accenture solves our clients’ toughest challenges by driving innovation and providing unmatched services in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations,” says Jorge Corral, Dallas office managing director.
About the culture
Accenture benefits include domestic partners and it was one of the first companies to double maternity leave to 16 weeks, increasing primary caregiver leave to eight weeks, and providing employees the opportunity to work locally for one year following return from the birth or adoption of a child. Flexible work arrangements include flex time, part-time, job sharing, telecommuting and home working.
Employees say
"I get to learn new things every day, week, and year. I work with very smart, motivated people.”
"Accenture is a great place to work if you are LGBTQ. My manager does not make me feel less important because I am gay; In fact, he pushes me harder and it makes me achieve."
Good works
Accenture teamed up with the United Way’s GroundFloor social accelerator program and committed $500,000 over two years to drive community-minded innovation in North Texas. In Dallas, it works Junior Achievement, The Gatehouse, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and Back on My Feet to provide skills like resume writing and mentoring. Its online crowdfunding platform, myGiving, provides a simple way to make tax-deductible donations to – and raise funds for – causes important to employees.
