In their own words
“JPS Health Network makes lives better for our patients, our team members and the communities we serve,” says Robert Earley, president and CEO.
About the culture
Patient-centered care is the guiding principle of JPS Health Network. Its Rules of the Road are the map for our journey to excellence: Own it. Seek joy. Don’t be a jerk. In response to the growing crisis of healthcare burnout, JPS has adopted or created numerous “Care for the Caregiver” programs, including Schwartz Rounds, Trauma Circle, Soul Café, Employee Assistance Program, ENLIVEN health and wellness initiatives, Second Victim response team, physician engagement initiatives (physician recognition for Doctor’s Day, a physician lounge) and physician integration with executive rounding on patients.
Employees say
"I am respected, appreciated and allowed to work to my full potential. Couple that with an amazing mission to provide excellent care for our patients — it’s a dream job."
"JPS does a good job of making people feel they are contributing to quality patient care. I like that the culture is about building strong people that in turn grow the organization."
"JPS has a fun and friendly atmosphere. I enjoy working in an environment that helps the community and does not judge a person by what they may or may not have."
