In their own words
“Pariveda rethinks what is and imagines what’s next, solving complex problems, leveraging strategy and technology to drive change,” says Bruce Ballengee, founder and CEO.
About the culture
Employees start with four weeks of PTO, and people on the management team must take a 60-day sabbatical when they reach their fifth anniversary. In 2007, the founders created an employee stock ownership plan that gradually transfers complete ownership to employees over the next 12 years.
Employees say
"I am able to do what I love with the best people in the industry. We are supported by an employee- and culture-first organization that realizes keeping me satisfied makes me perform at my best."
"I have a lot of interaction with upper management, and that makes me feel important and gives me great role models. I enjoy my day to day activities and know that my manager is very intentional in what work she assigns to me so that I am always challenged and like my job."
"The constant change in expectations project-to-project can be almost overwhelming at times, but it does lead a great sense of accomplishment when you've arrived at the other side and realize all you've done, all you've learned, and all you've become."
Good works
Pariveda’s 11-week summer internship programs focus around nonprofit work, and charitable organizations benefit from Pariveda's services through the program. This arrangement allows for interns to embrace the mindset of giving back to the community and making a difference from the get-go. The internship program provides college students with an experience during a summer where they learn what it is like to be a consultant while learning how to give back to the community. Pariveda also had groups of volunteers participate in Walk For Wishes and the team raised over $1,000 to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Pariveda also partnered with Ronald McDonald House to serve breakfast for families whose children are receiving treatment for a serious illness or injury at a Dallas area hospital.
Fun facts
Pariveda calls its employees "fins." Its annual FinFest event is a companywide conference for fins by fins that celebrates its culture of learning, coaching and giving.
