In their own words
“Protiviti is a global consulting firm offering solutions in finance, technology, operations, data, analytics, governance, risk and internal audit,” says Susan Haseley, executive vice president.
About the culture
Protiviti offers sabbaticals of one to three months with a stipend for employees to pursue personal goals and dreams. It holds frequent social events, including a crawfish boil at Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake. The event followed our regular town hall meeting and almost everyone stayed afterwards for the party with outdoor lawn games and music. Protiviti recognize stellar performance through “quick hit” gift cards; formal highlighting at quarterly forums; a travel recognition program with points towards gifts of the employee’s choosing; and global recognition of individual achievements via our social networking site. The company also has a ‘Back-up Care’ program for times when employees’ usual care arrangements break down.
Employees say
"I feel like I am running my own small business without the risk."
"Protiviti is a great place to work -- we work hard and have fun together as a team. We collaborate together on projects and also on community events."
Good works
All Protiviti employees are encouraged to support the local community, with paid time off for approved volunteering events. Dallas employees organized a food drive for those affected by hurricanes in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean Islands; raised money (and grew moustaches!) to support The Movember Foundation; teamed with The Salvation Army to distribute holiday gifts to local families; organized a Valentine’s Day visit to the Silverado Memory Care Center; participated in the Dallas HIV/AIDS walk; and sponsored a booth for the Family Gateway homeless shelter “Day to Play.” Protiviti’s firm-wide initiatives include an annual U.S. Intern Day of Service, during which interns, employees and clients across the U.S. amass hundreds of hours of service; and the “’i on Hunger” program, in which Protiviti volunteers around the world have provided more than 5.5 million meals by partnering with several nonprofits to help feed the hungry.
