Good works
The hospital supports The Samaritan Inn, a homeless shelter in McKinney, as well as Shiloh Place, a place for women and their children to escape abuse. It also supports the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, the Community Health Clinic of McKinney and Carter Bloodcare. There's an annual peanut butter drive to benefit the Samaritan Inn in McKinney, and the company supports medical missions to Africa founded by one of its surgeons. The hospital also created a scholarship through Collin County Community College for nursing students.
Fun facts
In the last year, Methodist McKinney opened state-of-the-art surgery centers in Allen and at the Craig Ranch Hospital in McKinney.
