In their own words

“At PCI, we are passionate about helping our university, service organization and high school clients drive alumni and membership engagement, collect data and drive contributions,” says Drew Clancy, president and CEO.

About the culture

PCI has quarterly business meetings where the CEO and business leaders travel to each of its offices to present the latest info about the business. It has an online recognition program called "You Earned It" where associates can comment, agree and like recognition given to their peers. Points can be earned to redeem for unique prizes such as a day with the CEO, lunch with a leader and gift cards. The company likes impromptu activities such root beer floats, cupcake days, Hawaiian shirt day, best decorated flip flops, craziest Bermuda short day and dressing in school colors to kick off new projects. In addition to an employee assistance program, Publishing Concepts has an in-house chaplain program that associates can use in confidence for personal challenges or to arrange hospital visits for family members anywhere in the U.S.

Employees say

"I love my hours, I love the culture, I love the location, the pay, the incentives etc. It's a great place to be."

"I speak with dozens of incredibly interesting people every day and get to help them reconnect with people as well as support the organizations and schools that matter to them."

Good works

PCI is a sponsor of the Relay for Life across all of its offices. Each office raises money through bake sales, competitions to earn "Jeans Week," where you get to wear jeans all week, among other fun activities. It participates in the Hearts and Hammers program, donating time and materials to create homes for others. Every holiday season PCI workers spend a day with the Salvation Army distribution center, helping with packages, distribution of gifts, etc.

Fun facts

PCI begins each day with a 10-minute all company meeting we refer to as "the 10@9" in which it covers its revenue data, upcoming business contracts and customer service scores while reviewing one of its values and sharing kudos for other associates.
