About the culture

Every quarter, the entire company participates in Dare to Dazzle, the company’s proprietary customer service training, and tackles topics from core values to time management, team-building and industry knowledge. New Benefits pays between 60 percent and 80 percent of the premium expenses for medical and dental plans. All full-time employees are given 100 percent employer-paid life insurance that includes accidental death and disability. Employees and their families also have access to more than 30 health care and lifestyle benefits at no cost, including telemedicine, identity theft protection, roadside assistance, caregiver support and discounts on vision, dental, pharmacy and legal services.  Workers can wear jeans every day, and a complimentary breakfast is provided every Friday.

Good works

New Benefits plans at least one community drive or event every quarter. A recent drive was for Vogel Alcove, a nonprofit organization providing homeless children with trauma-informed care and a path to succeed in school. New Benefits employees collected food donations and assembled “bye-bye bags,” then a few employees helped deliver the bags and chaperone the kids one afternoon. It also raised over $5,000 for Make-A-Wish North Texas Walk for Wishes, an organization that grants wishes for kids with critical illnesses, and donated over 200 teddy bears to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.
