In their own words

“We are a personal injury law firm that helps victims who have been injured in a car or truck wreck by making sure they have access to medical treatment and legal counsel,” says founding partner Amy Witherite.

About the culture

After 60 days of continuous employment, employees can participate in the firm's health, dental, vision, and life insurance. After one year of continuous employment, employees are eligible to participate in the 401k program. Each month, a team member is nominated by peers for going above and beyond with the “EW Kick-Ass Award.” Winners get a framed document with the comments their peers wrote to nominate them, a roving trophy to showcase and reserved parking for a month.

Employees say

"Because I work in a family environment, that has allowed me to grow as an employee and an individual. Recognition doesn’t go unnoticed, and there is always room and opportunity to grow within."

"I am constantly learning, which is important to me. I have good cases to work on. I feel like I make a difference in helping my clients and I enjoy having a real connection with the client. I just feel like I can grow and learn at an accelerated pace which is important to me. I also feel appreciated and taken care of for my contributions to the firm."

Good works

Eberstein Witherite supports community projects and organizations including the Dallas MLK Center, Women Called Moses, Project 16, back to school initiatives, scholarships for Dunbar High School Students and providing toys, blankets and canned goods to families during the holidays. In 2017, it created the EW Cares project and raised over $60,000 and provided support to over 25 families devastated by Hurricane Harvey.

Fun facts

In January 2017, founding partner Amy Witherite set a goal for the firm to increase revenue and cut operating expenses without decreasing the level of service to clients. The promise for achieving the goal was a 10 percent raise for every employee (with the exception of our attorneys). It hit the goal and celebrated with a party at Dave and Busters in January.
