About the culture
Providence's benefits include a 403B company matching retirement plan, funds available for professional growth in their educational field, health care, dental, life insurance and vision (paid in full for the employee and a portion is paid for employee's family), paid holidays, including one week at Thanksgiving and spring break, and two weeks at Christmas.
Employees say
"I get to work with wonderful people who encourage me as an individual as well as in my walk with Christ. I have great respect for my co-workers as well as the head of my department and the head of school. I love the families I serve as well as the students in my classes. I love that we daily experience a shared mission of serving the community of families God has entrusted us with. It truly is the greatest job on the planet!"
"I am able to do different things every day. My boss has tailored my job to my strengths."
"I have the freedom to set my schedule and perform my duties in the way I think is best. I feel my opinions and suggestions are taken seriously and valued."
Fun facts
In addition to traditional science studies, all students learn nature studies through flower and vegetable gardens they maintain and a live animal center. Students graduate from Providence in the eighth grade with two years of high school Latin under their belts.
